Despite winning multiple awards over the years, Hollywood actor Leonardo DiCaprio still aims to bag the Best Actor awards from highest and most prestigious award-giving body in the entertainment industry—the Academy Awards or simply known as the Oscars.
After months of anticipating and waiting for the awards night of the 88th Academy Awards—which took place at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, California on Sunday evening (February 28, 2016 — Manila time: Monday morning on February 29, 2016)—Leonardo finally received the rightful recognition for his award-winning performance in “The Revenant.”
In addition, the 88th Academy Awards awarded “The Revenant’s” director Alejandro González Iñárritu for his award-winning masterpiece.
