It seems like receiving a surprise birthday party was not big enough for the 21st birthday of the “Dubsmash Queen” Maine Mendoza when her on-screen partner Alden Richards gave a special gift as he planted a sweet kiss on the lips of the GMA actress.
On Saturday (March 5, 2016), GMA Network’s daily noon variety show “Eat Bulaga” prepared a special birthday celebration for Maine in lieu of her 21st birthday last Thursday (March 3, 2016).
Alden also gave Maine several gifts based on the letters of her name – M.A.I.N.E. First is a Medallion of Saint Benedict for her protection. A for “alaga” which is a pair of love birds. I is for an illustration of Alden and Maine in a frame. N for a notebook for Maine to write down important events, and E which according to Alden is a special gift which he says is for Maine’s Eyes only.
