Weeks after being involved in a viral and controversial Snapchat video snippet, promising ABS-CBN young actor James Reid finally broke his silence on the issue.
In an interview with Pep.ph, the 22-year-old actor expressed his insights on the said video which went viral on various social media websites. As seen on the video, James was spending some time with two unnamed girls and appeared like he already had a couple of drinks prior to taking the video.
James defended that the two girls seen on the video are his good friends. In fact, the ABS-CBN actor revealed that his longtime on-screen love team and real life sweetheart, Nadine Lustre, personally knows the “mystery girls.”
“They’re all friends of mine. Nadine knows them, too. She really doesn’t mind.”
When it comes to his two-month relationship with Nadine, the ABS-CBN young actor shared that he and Nadine are still “on a high.” It can be remembered that the real life ABS-CBN couple made the big announcement at their sold-out major concert, “JaDine in Love” last February 20, 2016.
“Amazing, we’re still on a high. With everything that’s been happening, the concert tour, everything, actually, nothing really changed between us. I know her inside and out for three years of being good friends. It’s more of the feelings that changed.”
As of the moment, James and Nadine are gearing up as they officially launch their summer “kilig” movie, “This Time” on May 4, 2016.
