After months of speculations, award-winning ABS-CBN heartthrob Piolo Pascual finally revealed the reason why his supposed series with ABS-CBN actress-host Toni Gonzaga called “Written In Our Stars” was temporarily put on hold.
In an interview with ABS-CBN News, the 39-year-old actor shared that he and the rest of the team are still waiting for further announcements with regard to the supposed ABS-CBN primetime series.
Back in February 2016, rumors and speculations about Toni’s pregnancy first surfaced various social media websites. In addition, some fans suggested that Toni’s pregnancy is the reason why the ABS-CBN network chose to temporarily cancel the scheduled taping days for the teleserye.
When asked whether he knew about Toni’s pregnancy prior to her official announcement in ASAP last Sunday (April 17, 2016), the ABS-CBN heartthrob affirmed that he remained clueless just like everyone else.
Piolo shared that he completely understand the management’s decision to hold his upcoming series to pave way for Toni who is expecting her first child with husband, award-winning director-producer Paul Soriano.
Back in December 2015, the first “Written In Our Stars” was released on ABS-CBN’s official YouTube Channel. The said ABS-CBN series is bound to be directed by critically acclaimed director Andoy Ranay and will feature various ABS-CBN artists namely Sam Milby, Jolina Magdangal, Sarah Lahbati, and child actor Marco Masa.
