16-year-old Claudia Barretto recently signed a recording contract with Universal Studios on Wednesday (May 3, 2016) after deciding that it was time for her to make music which is something she always wanted to do.
According to the exclusive video uploaded by Universal Records Philippines on their official Facebook account, Claudia shared that she is so happy to do something she always dreamt of doing.
The budding singer is planning to do pop and a little bit of RnB. She also said that she’s inspired by Kehlani and would want ABS-CBN singer Yeng Constantino to write one of her songs. Moreover, Claudia admitted that she wanted to sing a song with Sam Concepcion.
With regard to her older sister, Julia Barretto’s reaction, Claudia revealed that Julia was so happy because the ABS-CBN teen actress wanted this for her just as much as she did. Claudia expressed her gratitude to her existing fans, their support and encouragement that they continuously give her.
