Versatile actor Jake Cuenca definitely has another reason to celebrate life after winning the Best Actor award for the film, ‘Mulat’ (Awaken) at the prestigious international award-giving body, 2016 World Cinema Festival.
Through an Instagram upload on Saturday (May 21, 2016), the 29-year-old ABS-CBN actor expressed his gratitude and congratulatory message to his director, Maria Diane Ventura and the rest of the production team by saying:
“To God be the glory. congratulation to everyone involved in this movie and congratulations to my director @mariadianeventura.”
Jake and his director—who won with the Best Narrative Feature award—are set to personally receive their respective recognitions this coming Saturday (May 28, 2016) at the JW Marriott Hotel in Copacabana, Brazil.
