‘Just The 3 of Us’ lead stars Jennylyn Mercado and John Lloyd Cruz had a joint television guesting on ABS-CBN’s weekly comedy talk show, ‘Gandang Gabi Vice’ on Sunday (May 8, 2016).
During the said guesting, GGV host Vice Ganda asked the GMA actress if there’s any truth to the rumor that she had a crush on John Lloyd prior to their meeting.
Jennylyn said she is an avid fan and narrated her very first encounter with John Lloyd.
The award-winning GMA actress shared that she couldn’t look at John Lloyd when she first admitted that she was once an avid fan of the award-winning ABS-CBN actor a couple of years back.
In fact, Jennylyn even narrated the story about the first encounter she had with John Lloyd. She said that it was at a mall and was with her son, Jazz when she noticed John Lloyd at the escalator. The GMA actress said she ran towards him and chased him until they reached the parking lot just to have a photo with John Lloyd.
Jennylyn also sang John Lloyd’s favorite song, ‘All Behind Us Now,’ on the said show. At first, she didn’t know the lyrics but Vice came in prepared for the said episode and flashed the lyrics on the teleprompter. The ABS-CBN comedian-host urged Jennylyn to sing while John Lloyd nods his head to the beat.
