Over a month after revealing that Ellen Adarna will be starring in an upcoming Regal Films-produced movie called “The Escort,” talent manager Leo Dominguez revealed that GMA actress Lovi Poe will replace the ABS-CBN actress in the said movie.
Through a couple of Instagram uploads on his personal Instagram account, Leo shared that Lovi will officially take on the role of Ellen because of an undisclosed reason.
Moreover, according to one of Leo’s photo uploads, he, Lovi along with the director of the film, Enzo Williams already had a meeting to discuss some details about “The Escort” movie.
Leo uploaded a photo with the following caption :
“Meeting for #TheEscort for #LoviPoe and director #EnzoWilliams”
However, on a separate Instagram post by Regal Films a few weeks ago, the production company announced that Ellen will be starring in the said film.
Regal Films Instagram account uploaded a photo with the following caption :
“Catch Ellen Adarna with Derek Ramsay and Mr. Christopher de Leon in the upcoming sexy & romantic movie, #TheEscort coming soon in cinemas nationwide. #RegalFilms”
As of writing, no official statement from Regal or Ellen has been released yet about the sudden change of the movie’s cast.
