International singing sensation Charice was applauded by netizens all over the world because for the first time ever, a transman landed on the cover of a lifestyle magazine for men.
Through an Instagram upload on Tuesday (March 31, 2016), Mega Man proudly revealed that they featured the 24-year-old international pop singer for their June 2016 issue.
“In a move that can only be described as bold and daring, we tread unprecedented waters with headline-making international singing sensation Charice on the cover of MEGA Man.”
The Philippine-based magazine publication also shared that Charice’s magazine cover was a first in the history of magazine publication.
“By most accounts, this has never been done before and whatever way the pendulum will swing, this was a move worth taking.”
Around two months ago, Charice announced that he is currently working on his comeback album after three years of going on a hiatus. The said album is set to be released within 2016.
