After his blockbuster film ‘Imagine You and Me,’ hit Philippine cinemas last July 13, actor Alden Richards burst into tears upon receiving another blessing—a 7x Platinum Award for his album “Wish I May.”
During the July 17 episode of GMA 7’s weekend noontime show ‘Sunday PinaSaya,’ comedienne Ai Ai delas Alas congratulated Alden for the 6x Platinum Award for his album under GMA Records. However, Primetime Queen Marian Rivera-Dantes emerged from the backstage and corrected Ai Ai, bringing with her a 7x Platinum Award for the said album.
GMA Records congratulated Alden for his recent achievement on its official Instagram account. It wrote: “#7XPlatinumWishIMayAlbum Congratulations to @aldenrichards02 for receiving 6x and 7x Platinum awards with over 105 thousand units sold in physical and digital sales combined!Again, congratulations!”
