In a series of posts from his Instagram account, Filipino singer Martin Nievera became sentimental on his 34th anniversary in the entertainment industry.
With more than three decades in show business, Martin has experienced both “victories and defeats” in his career. Formerly one of the brightest stars of his home network, ABS-CBN, Martin’s exposure under the limelight has diminished in the past few years. However, the Concert King remains grateful for the constant support he received throughout his career.
“As I look back 34 years ago, I find myself speechless and humbled by the victories and defeats I have faced. I am stronger, more grateful, and amazed by the support and love I get from all of you. Thank you for my 34 yrs and know the road ahead has endless possibilities,” Martin wrote on the photo he posted on his account last July 4.
Martin also thanked those we greeted him during his 34th anniversary, adding that it is an honor to continue singing for his fans and supporters.
“Thank you to everyone, EVERYONE, who greeted me on this—my 34th anniversary in the biz! It has been a total honor singing for you… The ride continues… The show must go on…”
In his last update for his anniversary, although he appeared to bid farewell, the veteran singer reassured his fans that he will continue performing.
He wrote:
“As the lights go down and the sound turned off, I find myself packing my bags for the 1 millionth time. As I say my “goodbyes” and the “be goods” and the “I’ll be right backs,” I wipe my tears and ask myself “where are you going and why?” Good question…
The show must go on…”
