Singer Aiza Seguerra and her wife, actress Liza Diño, are the newest celebrities who were appointed in government positions under the Duterte administration.
In a report by ABS-CBN News, Presidential Spokesperson Ernesto Abella revealed in a text message that Aiza is the new chairperson of the National Youth Commission while Liza is the chairperson of the Film Development Council of the Philippines.
The positions occupied by Aiza and Liza both last for a period of three years.
Aiza and Liza are staunch supporters of President Duterte, ever since the former Davao City mayor filed his presidential bid during the May 2016 elections.
