After suffering from two miscarriages previously, television host Mariel Rodriguez is extra careful this time with her delicate pregnancy to a baby girl with husband Robin Padilla. Mariel took a leave from her hosting duties in ‘It’s Showtime’ and ‘Pinoy Big Brother’ to prepare herself for the big day.
Mariel’s due date is sometime in November, and she has decided to give birth to her ‘unica hija’ in the United States according to Ricky Lo in his entertainment column on Philippine Star. Also from the report, Mariel will be given a baby shower in September 2016 before she flies to the States.
The baby’s gender was revealed at a party hosted by Japanese stroller brand Aprica last August 13, Saturday.
Meanwhile, on August 18, Thursday, Mariel’s ‘Pinoy Big Brother’ family threw a baby shower for her and her fellow preggy co-host Toni Gonzaga.
