“I’m fighting for my baby’s life.”
This was what television host Mariel Rodriguez-Padilla said in an interview with Tonight on Boy Abunda during the baby shower thrown by StarStudio Magazine for Toni Gonzaga and Paul Soriano.
After previously suffering from two miscarriages, Mariel thanked ABS-CBN for understanding her situation with her delicate pregnancy and allowing her to take a leave from her show commitments.
“I’ll always be grateful to my It’s Showtime family, to my PBB family, to ABS-CBN. Thank you so much! You don’t know how much it means to me. Naiintindihan nila. I’m fighting for my baby’s life. So talagang, kareerin ko muna ‘to,” the blooming Mariel said.
