Reigning Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach called on people to stop bullying FHM Sexiest Woman Jessy Mendiola.
Jessy has been receiving a lot of hate on social media for being unapologetically and confidently sexy in her own skin.
In her Twitter account, Pia wrote: “Seriously though, enough w/ the Jessy Mendiola hate. Confident Filipinas should be celebrated, not condemned. #NoToBodyShaming #NoToBullying”
Previously, Pia also stood in support of Jessy for the comment she made on-stage during the FHM 100 Sexiest Party.
Many saw what jessy mendiola told to the crowd during during the FHM 100 Sexiest Party as an “arrogant” remark from the actress. On the other hand, Pia said that she saw nothing wrong with the controversial statement.
“What I saw was a girl who was just really ecstatic to be given that recognition. Nothing wrong with that. Congratulations, Jessy! ,” Pia wrote.
