Lifestyle columnist, television host, club owner, and ‘eventologist’ Tim Yap vehemently denied rumors that he is included in President Duterte’s list of celebrities involved in the illegal drug trade.
In Lolit Solis’ spot on Arnold Clavio and Ali Sotto’s radio show on DZBB, the famous talent manager reported that the high-profile socialite is included in the drug list which is in possession by the Philippine National Police.
Rumors spread that Tim is in hiding as he is a drug user and even peddles drugs to members of the entertainment industry when people noted his absence during the 77th birthday celebration of Regal’s Mother Lily Monteverde.
However, on the same radio show on DZBB with Arnold Clavio and Ali Sotto, Tim said that there is no truth to the allegations. As a matter of fact, he said that he was the one that initiated club owners in Bonifacio Global City (BGC) to cooperate with the police regarding the illegal drug trade.
Tim also shared that he was not able to attend Mother Lily’s birthday because of a prior commitment.
