Sandro Marcos clarified his tweet regarding the Davao night market bombing. In his tweet, Sandro said “Prayers going out to those involved in the Davao explosion, hoping you all keep safe! #PrayForDavao”.
The tweet drew mixed reactions from netizens because of the word ‘involved’. Some said the word ‘involved’ included not only the victims but also the perpetrators – in this case the Abu Sayyaf who claimed responsibility for the said incident.
Sandro apologized for the confusion brought about by this tweet when someone tweeted the following: “I’m pretty sure you meant the victims, no? Involved can mean the perpetrators.”.
Sandro replied this way: “that’s exactly what I meant. Apologies for the misunderstanding.”
