Once again, GMA Network is bound to amuse its avid GMA viewers as the networks launches its newest afternoon prime series called “The Millionaire’s Wife” featuring remarkable artists Mike Tan and Andrea Torres to be directed by Direk Albert Langitan.
On Tuesday evening (March 8, 2016), GMA organized a press conference in lieu of its upcoming series “The Millionaire’s Wife,” which is set to premiere on March 14, 2016.
The story will revolve on the life of Louisa Ignacio (to be portrayed by Andrea Torres) who is a hard-working nurse and a single mother to her son with former lover Ivan Meneses (to be portrayed by Mike Tan). Aside from bearing the pain and struggles of being a single mother, she also has to face the fact that her son acquired juvenile diabetes. With that in hand, Louisa will unquestionably do anything just to support her son’s medical needs.
Louisa will then meet Alfredo Vergara (to be portrayed by Robert Arevalo), a widowed millionaire who became her patient and will later hire her to be his personal nurse. Over time, Alfredo falls for the beauty and heart of Louisa and ends up proposing to the single mother. Louisa, who prioritizes the health and condition of her son, will agree to marry Alfredo and be his wife despite having to deal with the millionaire’s spoiled unica hija, Stella Vergara-Montecillo (to be portrayed by Jaclyn Jose) and grandchildren Jared Montecillo (to be portrayed by Sid Lucero) and Allison Montecillo (to be portrayed by Ina Raymundo).
GMA viewers will be able to witness and follow the life of Louisa every weekday after Hanggang Makita Kang Muli on GMA Afternoon Prime beginning on March 14, 2016.
