Merely days after uploading a photo depicting records of her tax payments for the past years, the Queen of All Media Kris Aquino received various bashing and hateful comments from netizens who took offense of the said post.
Last Sunday (April 24, 2016), the Queen of All Media uploaded a photo on her personal Instagram account, encapsulating a list of all her tax payments for the past few years.
As seen on the comments section of the said Instagram post, Kris received various negative remarks and was bashed by some netizens who believe that the said post is uncalled for.
Some netizens even stated that Kris was being insensitive and arrogant to the Filipino nation. According to the comments, the Queen of All Media should consider the fact that most Filipinos—who do not earn as much as she does—are still paying their taxes despite going through financial difficulty.
As of writing, the 45-year-old actress-host has not released a statement on the issue. A few months ago, Kris announced that she will be going on a ‘wellness break’ to improve her health condition and spend more quality time with her two sons, Joshua, and Bimby.
