Despite being tagged as a ‘party boy,’ promising Kapamilya young actor James Reid shared that he understands where the negative connotation comes from and that he deserves to be happy with his on-screen love team and real life sweetheart, Nadine Lustre.
In an interview with the King of Talk Boy Abunda during his television guesting on ABS-CBN’s late night talk show, “Tonight With Boy Abunda” on Tuesday (April 26, 2016) evening, the 22-year-old actor commented on the issue that he is a ‘wild party boy.’
James openly admitted that he is into living the night life and partying but being with Nadine—who is not into partying just as much as he is—is just what he needs now.
“Well, I do love to party. And I’ve had a long party streak. And I get where the ‘bad boy’ thing (tag) comes from. But, maybe Nadine (Lustre) is just what I need.”
The Kapamilya actor added that the haters and bashers cannot blame him for wanting something different, something good that brings him such happiness in life.
“Can you hate me if I’m wanting to have something that’s good?”
James and Nadine, who both admitted that they are at their happiest state, are bound to mark their third monthsary this coming April 11, 2016.
