The Queen of All Media and Presidential sister Kris Aquino got criticized after photos of her alighting a presidential chopper went viral on various social media websites.
According to reports, the 45-year-old ABS-CBN actress-host attended a campaign sortie organized by the Liberal Party. A couple of days ago, Kris expressed her support for the said political party represented by her brother, President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III.
Weeks before the 2016 presidential elections, Kris promised to actively participate in promoting and supporting LP’ presidential bet Mar Roxas and vice-presidential bet Leni Robredo. However, last Tuesday (April 19, 2016),the presidential sister received hateful comments and even got bashed after using the presidential chopper.
In addition, a Facebook page under the username Pinoy Aviators uploaded a candid photo of Kris alongside a caption explaining that the actress-host took part in the Inauguration of the 59-Megawatt SacaSun Solar Power Plant in San Carlos in Negros Occidental.

Malacañang, on the other hand, immediately defended the presidential sister from accusations suggesting that she is taking advantage of her brother’s privileges as the President of the Philippines. According to an article published by Manila Bulletin, the Presidential Communications Operations Secretary Herminio Coloma Jr. defended the Queen of All Media through a text message which states:
“Members of the President’s immediate family are allowed to ride with him in official government vehicles.”
As of writing, no official comment or statement about the issue from the ABS-CBN actress-host has been released yet.
