The discussion as to whether actress Liza Soberano will be joining the cast of ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ has been going around in social media for quite sometime now. Given her beauty and charm, fans and followers of the actress are saying Liza can play the role of Mary Jane Watson – the love interest of Peter Parker aka Spiderman.
On his weekend program Mismo on DZMM, comedian Ogie Diaz put an end to all speculations by saying that there is no truth behind the news that Liza was invited by the film outfit producing Spiderman.
Ogie added that the report started from a someone who simply suggested the idea on Twitter that Liza can be the next Mary Jane Watson, and the idea became viral.
But what does Liza think of the idea joining the cast of “Spider-Man: Homecoming”?
According to Ogie, Liza is very excited with the idea but he added that if indeed Liza will be invited, Liza’s work schedule will be a problem and a hindrance at the same time.
Actor Tom Holland will play the role of Spiderman / Peter Parker on the said movie.
