After weeks of keeping mum about the issue, multi-awarded ABS-CBN actress-performer Vina Morales finally confirmed that she filed a complaint against her former partner and the father of her child, Cedric Lee after “forcibly detaining” their seven-year-old daughter Ceana.
Through an exclusive message sent by the 40-year-old actress to Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP.ph), the actress-performer explained the reason behind her motive in filing a case against Cedric.
According to Vina, Cedric violated the court-approved visitation rights by forcibly detaining Ceana during her trip abroad with her French beau Marc Lambert in France.
“I filed a case against Cedric last Friday. I have a hearing tomorrow (June 8) at 8:30 A.M. in San Juan. Cedric detained my daughter Ceana forcibly without my permission for 9 days while I was away, and violated the court-approved visitation rights every Saturday. I have been quiet about it but since people are asking me now, I have to tell the truth. Ceana was handed to my family (Shaina was there) at the court last May 23. She is only 7 years old and was confused with what happened and a bit traumatized.”
Moreover, the multi-awarded actress-performer stated that she will stand firm by her decision and will continue to fight against her former partner’s “bullying.”
In addition, Vina uploaded a cryptic photo message on her personal Instagram account which reads:
“Let me be clear—no one is above the law. Not a politician, not a priest, not a criminal, not a police officer. We are all accountable for our actions.”
As of writing, Cedric has not released an official statement concerning the issue yet.
