ABS-CBN actress Isabelle Daza gets nostalgic on Thursday, July 14, after announcing on her Instagram account that her father, culinary icon and food entrepreneur Bong Daza has passed away.
Isabelle remembered her dad by posting an old photo of her with her father. The photo was taken in Saisaki and the little Isabelle was donning a band-aid strip on her head while her dad gleefully looked at her.
“That time you made all the waitresses in Saisaki sing “happy birthday” for me cause I hurt my head..! Love you Pop. Hug Lola Nora for me up in Heaven,” Isabelle wrote.
According to a report by The Philippine Star last week, Bong was at the intensive care unit of Makati Medical Center after suffering a heart attack.
Bong Daza was the son of another culinary icon, Nora Daza, and the former spouse of Ms. Universe 1969 Gloria Diaz.
